Although what she makes often appears abstract at first, it stems from figurative roots – days and weeks of life study in charcoal – part of her formative education at the Academy of Applied Arts in Prague . Aspects of the human body, ideas around vision and perception - all have a part to play in the translation of feelings into tangible, tactile forms".
